Welcome to the home on the Internet of the Greater Washington Chapter 353 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH). Our Patriots are proud to be members of this prominent veterans service organization (VSO) chartered by Congress exclusively for combat-wounded veterans. Please read about the Purple Heart Medal and what makes this military award special.

You are welcome to look around and learn about our Chapter, read our news, and explore our events. Our Officers are just a phone call or an e-mail message away. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are a Purple Heart recipient, we invite you to become a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) and our Greater Washington Chapter 353. For your convenience, application and transfer forms are available in several formats. Female Purple Heart recipients are welcome to join our Ladies' Auxiliary (LAMOPH) in addition to the MOPH.

We share our lives with members of our Ladies' Auxiliary (LAMOPH). The Greater Washington Unit 353 was created on June 29, 2004. It has over 20 members and continues looking for a few good and active Ladies. Please check the Unit's website and help spread the word.
