Viola Drives
Purple Heart Viola is the official flower of the Purple Heart veterans. Members of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and its Ladies' Auxiliary offer Violas to the public during their semi-annual or annual fundraising events known as Viola Drives. MOPH Chapters and LAMOPH Units use all funds raised at Viola Drives exclusively for projects and events that improve welfare of veterans and their immediate families. The joint Operation "Welcome Home" Program of our Greater Washington Chapter 353 and LAMOPH Greater Washington Unit 353 is an example of such welfare activities.
