Greater Washington Chapter 353 made a donation of $2,125 in VAVS  funds received from the MOPH Department of Virginia to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center  in Washington, DC during the Chapter's Christmas visit. Commander and Adjutant Steve Cobb (center) presents the check to the Medical Center Director Sanford Garfunkel (second  from right), while Chaplain Joe Jimenez (left) and Senior Vice Commander and Americanism Officer Ed Schnugs (right) look on. Also seen is Department of Virginia National Executive Committeeman Al Ortiz (second  from left) who joined Chapter 353 Patriots  for the visit on December 14, 2004.
