On June 23, 2004, Greater Washington Chapter 353 made a donation of $1,887.50 in VAVS  funds received  from the MOPH Department of Virginia to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center  in Washington, DC. Left to right are Chaplain Joe Jimenez, Commander and Adjutant Steve Cobb, 3-Year Trustee and Welfare Officer Eugen Forster, and Senior Vice Commander and Americanism Officer Ed Schnug during their meeting with the Associate Medical Center Director David J. West and Chief of Voluntary Service Paula Gorman. Unit Organizer of  the LAMOPH Greater Washington Unit 353  Tanya Cobb participated in the visit as a contributing photographer.
