The Purple Heart Day is an important reminder for all citizens and residents of our great country that our freedom is not free. Our happy today would not be possible without the sacrifices made by our military and veterans. Our thoughts, prayers, and support are and will be with our American heroes, who risk their lives in Afghanistan, Iraq, and many other places around the world, until everybody comes home. On behalf of all Ladies of the Greater Washington Unit 353, I bring our heartfelt THANK YOU to all Patriots, Comrades, and military service members for their service and our freedom.
