Keynote Speaker PFC (Retired) Joseph Zimmer of  the U.S. Army  fought in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Battle of  the Bulge during World War II. He was wounded in February 1945. In addition to the Purple Heart Medal, his major decorations include the Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), Bronze Star Medal, and over seven  foreign combat and service awards. Joe is a Life Member of  the Military Order of  the Purple Heart  and 1-Year Trustee of  the Greater Washington Chapter 353.
